About Jo
Jo Howell is a working class disabled photographic artist base in Sunderland. She works at the crossroads between digital and analogue photography processes to explore hidden stories with an element of community participation. Her works of note include Me and Mary Eleanor, #wearexperimenting and #GemTrail which use the cyanotype process to push the boundaries of what constitutes a photograph.
